Sloane is a photographer and consultant. Born and raised in Greenwich, Connecticut, she draws upon both her New England upbringing and her London dwellings in her work. She plays with irony and mockery, whilst balancing the roles of observer and participant. Her work illuminates self-awareness of privilege, beauty, and personal relationships. Sloane regards Tina Barney and Christopher Wool as her artistic influences. Primarily shooting on film, she seeks to capture her world with a prevailing sense of sprezzatura.*
She holds a BA in History with Honours from Brown University and a MA in International Law from The American University of Paris.
She is based in Paris and New York.
